New Product Launches for BBI Healthcare
2013 has already been a big year for BBI Healthcare with the launch of not one but four new products into the women’s intimate health market this spring. Balance Activ has expanded from a single product into a whole range, helping women treat and manage conditions in the privacy of the home, throughout all their life stages.
The original vaginal gel to treat Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) now has a sister product: a pessary. The pessaries are small and discreet and easy to use and offer women a choice of ways in which to treat BV, a condition that is almost twice as common as thrush and likely to affect one in three women.
Alongside BV, we have entered into two new categories: Conception and Menopause. The Balance Activ Conceive Fertility Gel and Spray are lubricants designed to help couples trying to conceive by aiding motility in poor quality sperm and the Balance Activ Menopause Moisture Gel is specifically designed to help older women who suffer from vaginal dryness and atrophy, a very common condition post-menopause that can be very painful and debilitating but easily treated with our gel.
Through launching these new products in high street retailers and pharmacy and making them readily available to buy off the shelf, Balance Activ has become recognisable as the brand that brings to the customer gentle, effective alternatives that work with the body. We’re enormously proud to have leading products in three different but very sensitive sub-categories, to be breaking down barriers, smashing taboos and offering real solutions to real women with our new range.
So yes, spring was busy, but there’s no time for relaxing as summer looks to be just as exciting as we prepare to launch our newly rebranded Gluco range of energy products. Revisit us in August to see our fun, fruity and fresh new packaging for Glucotabs and Glucojuice; products that deliver a tasty burst of glucose energy in a handy measured dose.
Autumn 2013 is still under wraps, but don’t be surprised if both Balance Activ and Gluco see their family numbers grow with the launch of some innovative and effective NPD (not to mention exciting!).
But it’s all a bit hush hush for now!
